Staff are lovely, but the click and collect is horrendous. 100% success rate of forgetting items, usually several bags which then becomes annoying having to go back up again to collect what they forgot. The packers seem to also select the most perished fresh goods or meat one day from its best before date too. Do not recommend their click and collect service.
Always shop at Strathalbyn Woolworths. Staff are just fantastic. Louise,Ben,Jack, Craig and Oscar..Wow guys you and the other team members deserve a medal. They do there utmost best in all areas. To those ungrateful people that have degraded them, SHOP somewhere else!!!!! Like Walmart, sounds like you belong there.. Merry Christmas 🎄
Shelves are pretty well stocked the front end staff are half half. Hats off to front end operator Ben he has great customer service skills very friendly and knows his stuff. Keep it up Ben. There's a blonde female there she is very hit an miss with her moods. Sometimes there's a line up at express she most of the time will continue to have her conversation with another worker rather than serve. Other times she will either have a discussed look on her face an start serving and comes across very rude and like she doesn't want to be there.( name starts with ch). Other than that. Good shop .
Samantha from Bakery was polite, friendly and helpful.
Alex from Produce was also friendly and presented his department well.
Unfortunately the young female at the Service Desk was less than friendly, speaking in an abrupt manner.
The Store was well presented, clean and tidy, with self serve checkouts available.
There is a BWS Liquor Store next door.
Wheelchair ♿ parking and access is also available.
The 2IC Jason is always super helpful when I go in to this store. He makes it a real pleasure to know that if I need a hand he's not always out in the office but actually on floor helping his staff. I really appreciate it Jason! Well done Woolies! He deserves a Payrise!
Pretty good they don't try to socialise with you incase that's what you like good service great fruits and so much good snake's just amazing
Good for expensive top ups - if it’s in stock.
Horrible for a full shop, it’s expensive and never have the essentials in stock when I shop here.
Meat is horrible and spoils fast and the texture and taste is different then buying meat at the butcher. (It’s a waste unless frozen and isn’t much cheaper/ sometimes more expensive than the local butcher - which is absurd).
Vegetables are not fresh - I have shopped at every available fresh veg shop within a 100km of Strathalbyn and Strath Woolies has by far the WORST vegetables. Tomatoes have a different texture? It’s like all the vegetables have zero flavour and nutrients in comparison.
The staff are friendly but that doesn’t mean anything to do with my shopping, it’s the nicest part of the store but it doesn’t change it’s contents.
